We went for a 'pub sign' feel to this range of patches, inspired by the traditional wooden name signs that hang above the many old country pubs and inns in this part of England.

One of my favourite patches, I adore this area and was so pleased when I found this patch, the attention to detail (picked out in recycled yarn) was a fitting tribute to a beautiful part of the country.
