The Ethels are a relatively new list of trigs, hills, tors and edges in the Peak District - named after Ethel Haythornthwaite; the pioneering environmentalist and founder of the countryside charity that we now know as CPRE Peak District and South Yorkshire.
There are 95 Ethels in total, making them more achievable than the Munros and Wainwrights - albeit still a great hill walking challenge that is more than deserving of celebration with our Ethels completer patch!
