New Lake District Fells patches - as featured in Trail Magazine!

The January 2020 edition of Trail Magazine is now on sale across the UK and we're delighted to have our new Lake District Fells range of patches featured in their Christmas Gift Guide on page 11!

We've been avid readers of Trail for years, so we're super excited to see our patches featured in one of our favourite magazines.

It's been a busy last couple of months getting the designs finished, patches made and launching our new website, but it's great to finally launch our new Lake District Fells range of patches - and the positive reaction to them has been fantastic, so thanks to everyone who's purchased one already!

So, If you've bagged Blencathra, scrambled up Scafell Pike or hiked to the top of Helvellyn in your quest to climb all 214 fells lovingly described and sketched by Alfred Wainwright in his Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells, why not mark the occasion and treat yourself (or a hill buddy) to a patch or two this Christmas? If you're quick, you can even take advantage of our 2019 Black Friday sale and get 25% off all orders from our website... ends midnight 29 November.

What makes your Lake District Fells patches stand out?

As keen hill walkers ourselves, with an eye for design and genuine appreciation of the UK mountains, these patches are a labour of love for us. This is reflected in their attention to detail - including each mountain's height and Wainwright fell area to which it belongs - and solid construction - designed to withstand the worst of the UK weather. Trust us, you simply won't find this level of quality and detail anywhere else.

We also know that not everyone likes sewing, which is why our Lake District Fells patches come with iron-on backing, making them easy to apply to bags and clothing. This said, we would always recommend sewing them on to items of outdoor kit that might see heavy use, just for added reinforcement. Alternatively, and this is a bit of a hack, we've found super glue works really well for attaching these patches to our rucksacks! Simply apply some to the iron-on backing, making sure to glue the corners well, and stick it to your bag. Job done.

With their retro feel and design inspired by vintage beer pump clips, we also think they look pretty good - and the next best thing to a post-hill pint!

Will you be releasing more Lake District Fells patches?

Yes, of course! We will be launching six new Lake District Fells patches just before Christmas - although we'll keep their identities a surprise for now... Suffice to say they're another bunch of classic Wainwrights, so hopefully you'll find some more of your favourite fells amongst them - just in time for Santa to drop them down the chimney.

In the meantime, if you've haven't already picked up a patch, check out our Black Friday sale - with 25% off all patches purchased from our website. You better be quick though as this sales ends at midnight on Friday.

Can I buy these patches in any shops?

We will have some exciting news on this front in the next week or so, but - spoiler alert - yes, we are delighted to confirm that you will be able to purchase our patches in select outdoor shops across the Lake District very soon... with more retail partners to be announced in the new year.
