The sheets work very well - but care is needed when cutting, scissors are not the best tool. Patches stayed attached even on areas that get flexed or scraped and rubbed, and seem resistant to the elements. It is worth laying out patches to make best use of area, but I managed even large patches using multiple pieces cut to shape and applied side by side. It can be fiddly finding the edge of the backing after cutting to peel it off - I found lifting an edge before cutting helped. It would be nice to have larger sheet sizes available, singly - say double the area - to handle larger patches in one go, but otherwise, an exceptionally sticky product that is simpler than sewing - and retains waterproofing of packs etc.
Great addition to the patch range. Makes them easy to apply to any material, even modern synthetics.
I used this a few weeks ago to attach a couple of badges to my bag, bit tricky at first to peel the backing off, but once you’ve done one it gets easier. Works really well, I’ve just got back from a very wet Snowdonia and they are still stuck fast to the bag. I’ll be getting more soon
I’m not that impressed as my patches are peeling off my bag. The bag was clean. The bag in a Black Diamong reek 20ltr.
