While the New Forest Ponies and Highland Cattle are ancient breeds that have roamed Britain for centuries, Kashmiri Goats are not a native species, having been introduced in the 1800s. However, there is a large feral population on the Great Orme, Llandudno, which have become quite synomymous with this part of North Wales.
